These are portraits of people involved in the How Farming Can Cool the Planet project — a collaboration between FLAME (Landworkers' Alliance Youth), Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK) and the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC).
The project brings together young people from these organisations to exchange views and ideas for the future of farming. The portraits were part of an initiative to gather their stories, and they sit alongside interviews about their experiences, their highs and lows, passions and hopes for the future.
They are drawn in charcoal and chalk on paper tinted with walnut ink made with husks from Avonleigh Orchards.
